What is RoseFolio?+
RoseFolio is a free iOS app for rose lovers. You can identify roses with AI, track your garden, browse 200+ varieties, and compete in weekly photo challenges with the community.
How does AI rose identification work?+
Take a photo of any rose (or pick one from your library) and our AI analyzes it to identify the variety. You'll get the rose name, care tips, fragrance info, and fun facts — usually in a few seconds.
Is AI identification always accurate?+
AI results are very good but not perfect. They're provided for informational and entertainment purposes. For critical decisions like treating plant disease, we recommend consulting a local nursery or horticulturist.
How much does RoseFolio cost?+
RoseFolio is free to download and use. Free users get 5 AI identifications per day, full access to the rose library, garden tracking, Rose of the Day, and the ability to vote in competitions. RoseFolio Pro ($19.99/year) gives you 15 AI identifications per day and the ability to enter weekly competitions.
How do I subscribe to RoseFolio Pro?+
Open the app, go to your profile, and tap the upgrade option. Payment is handled securely through the App Store. Your subscription renews annually unless you cancel.
How do I cancel my subscription?+
Go to your iPhone's Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > RoseFolio, then tap Cancel. You'll keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period. Apple handles all subscription management.
Can I get a refund?+
Refunds are handled by Apple. You can request a refund through the App Store by visiting reportaproblem.apple.com or through your purchase history in Settings.
Do I need an account to use the app?+
No. You can use garden tracking, the rose library, and Rose of the Day without signing in. An account (via Sign in with Apple) is needed for community features like posting, voting, competitions, and AI identification.
What data does RoseFolio collect?+
We collect only what's needed to run the app: your Apple sign-in ID, photos you choose to upload, and anonymous usage stats. Garden and wishlist data stays on your device. We never sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Can I delete my account and data?+
Yes. You can request account deletion from the app's settings or by emailing support@rosefolioapp.com. We'll delete your personal data and posts within 30 days.
How do weekly competitions work?+
Each week there's a new theme. Pro subscribers submit their best rose photo. Everyone in the community can vote. At the end of the week, the rose with the most votes wins and the winner is featured on our Winners page.
What are the daily AI scan limits?+
Free users get 5 AI identifications per day. Pro subscribers get 15. Limits reset every 24 hours.
Does RoseFolio work offline?+
Garden tracking, your wishlist, and the rose library work offline. AI identification and community features (posting, voting, competitions) require an internet connection.
